Each frame produced at Gold Leaf Studios is handmade in our workshop to individual specifications. Our carvers and gilders create historically accurate reproductions and original designs with equal care and attention to detail.

There are no off-the-shelf design solutions at Gold Leaf Studios. Our owner, William Adair, consults personally to help you find the best possible frame for your artwork. As an artist and a frame historian, he suggests designs for your consideration that are in harmony with the period and style in which your artwork was produced.

Our extensive collection of antique frames also provides a ready reference for your review. Many of these frames are displayed in the galleries and reception areas of the Studios, even more are stored out of sight, and all can be replicated or reproduced in varying dimensions. Some of these antiques are also available for purchase.
